Dear Parents and Carers,
As you will be aware, it was announced that the Scottish Government’s intention is for childcare settings to re-open to children from 22nd February. This is subject to continued progress in suppressing the virus and will be subject to final confirmation on the 16th February.
We will let you know once we have had confirmation and fingers crossed, we will see you all back on the 22nd February.
Stay Safe Everyone.
There is a wealth of resources and materials available online for ELC practitioners/other educators to use to support children and families learning at home.
Here are links to various useful websites, which offer guidance and inspiration for both staff and parents/carers on how to engage children with meaningful and developmentally appropriate experiences outdoors. Particularly during this time of Covid-19, it is important that we consider our children and families’ wellbeing and encourage them to be active, connect with each other and have fun in nature.
You will find a collection of links to online resources to support outdoor learning and Learning for Sustainability through this Education Scotland Wakelet https://wakelet.com/wake/dx8-511rFvLFU03clV9eh.
